Spanesi innovates, designs and manufactures the entire range of collision repair equipment. With its worldwide reach incorporating local divisions and a large distribution network, Spanesi is the only manufacturer that owns and operates a collision repair facility at its headquarters, where all products are tested and proven on a daily basis.

Orazio Spanesi, panel beater with a passion for "the tools", founded Spanesi in 1969. Staying in constant contact with body technicians represents the spirit of the entire Spanesi organization and reflected in its deep collision industry roots. Through the constant pursuit of high efficiency and OEM quality repairs, led Orazio to open his own bodyshop. He then set his sights on manufacturing equipment, with the exceptional insights of thinking like a technician. Spanesi's mission statement is simple:

More than 50 years of passionate innovation

1958

Orazio Spanesi started his career working in a bodyshop

He rode a bicycle 36km round trip from his house the bodyshop. The bicycle was too tall for him, so he had to pass one foot through the frame in order to pedal. He soon became enamoured with the body technician trade.

1969

Spanesi Car Service with opened

After perfecting the necessary skills and techniques, Orazio decided to open his own bodyshop, buying all of the best equipment available on the market.

1979

Equipment began to be manufactured on an industrial scale.

His new equipment purchases lacked the performance he had hoped to achieve. Orazio Spanesi began to develop and manufacture equipment, with the exceptional insights of his body technician background. This is the secret of the success behind the Spanesi brand.

2019

50th Anniversary and Showroom restyling

In 2019, Spanesi celebrated 50 years in business. To celebrate this extraordinary accomplishment, Spanesi built its new showroom, a truly modern technological triumph, which hosts training events within the "Spanesi Academy" programme.
